There are Always New Titles at the Library

Thanks to Lyon County Libraries for renewing our subscriptions for: Archaeology, Mother Jones, and Ms. magazines again this year.

Thanks to Louise for the beautiful new set of animal encyclopedias for young readers.

There are so many new books at the library, including:

Burned by Ellen Hopkins; Raising Worldly Wise But Innocent Kids by David Wyrtzen; How to Behave so Your Children Will Too! By Sal Severe, Ph.D.

Art: Large new collection on art history and artists (Picasso, Escher, Goya, Gaughin, Klimt, van Gogh, O’Keeffe, Judy Chicago, Aubrey Beardsley, etc.) Thank you, Karen Kreyeski!

Poetry: Rumi, M.S. Merwin, Yeats, Rossetti, Joan Delongchamps, Robert Pinsky, etc.

Fiction: including recent best sellers of all sorts, science fiction, mysteries, and classic literature

Adult Nonfiction: cook books, gardening, science, Nevada history, archaeology, and authors such as Bob Elston, Jr. and Karen Wright, etc.

Youth Fiction: Dozens of new titles, including Twilight, Prince Caspian, Burned by Ellen Hopkins, etc.

Children’s fiction: Dozens of “I Can Read” beginning books and beautiful new picture books

Three new youth encyclopedia sets (thank you Lyon County Libraries, Louise Crawford and Washoe Libraries)

New science DVD’s

Current periodicals including: Ms, Archaeology, HHMI, Mother Jones

Borrow up to 15 books anytime you’re at an event at the Silver City School House. Please try to return them within 3 months. Thank you!
